Privacy notes about Pulse

The Nevermind App is connected to the Nevermind server that labels all of your data to an anonymous code. This code has been assigned during the enrolment phase at your hospital. Only your reference medical doctor knows the association between the code and your sensitive data (name, age, pathology, etc.). Throughout the use of the Nevermind App, the following information will be stored in your smartphone, and will be securely sent to the Nevermind server:

• Results of the questionnaires you answered
• Physiological measurements that you collected using the wearable sensor (t-shirt) during the Mindfulness exercise.
• The audio file you have been recording using the app. The beginning of recording session will be explicitly mentioned by the app, needed a confirmation by the user.
• Information about the activities related to the app use
• Errors occurring throughout the app use

This information will be used to create a personalized user profile, which would also allow to better personalize your app functionalities. App personalizarion will also be made according to your needs/preferences. These data will be used to study possible characterization and evolution of your mental health status as a function of your behaviour, emotions and health condition. Data are processed in two servers that are hosted in two Universities:

• Universidad Politecnica de Madrid
• University of Essex

All information gathered through the Nevermind app will be used for research purposes exclusively.The following research team will have access to your data:

• Your health professional (also to follow up on the clinical trial).
• The University of Madrid: to improve and maintain the system
• The University of Pisa and University of Essex to process the data.
